What Weird National Holidays To Join In One Of These Days

Festivities are important for people. This is a way for them to have an excuse for drinking. It can also be because they just want to take a day off. Whatever the reason, festivities are important parts of live. Even weird national holidays are appreciated. Here are some of those peculiar festivities that you can enjoy nowadays.

Day of the Sea. This is the kind of celebration that Bolivians commemorate in honor of the loss of the Port of Calama, when their Bolivian forces lost against the Chilean forces. Since the Port of Calama is the last ocean-front property the Bolivians own back then, its loss is really a huge blow to them.

KOREAN ALPHABET DAY. Writers appreciate alphabets because this is the means that will allow them to pursue their craft. Not only writers, everyone loves alphabet because it is a means of communication. However, the Koreans take loving to another level. They created a day just for celebrating the existence of the Korean Alphabet in their culture.

National Punctuation Day. The Korean Alphabet Day might be an ideal celebration for writers but there is one more. For the Americans, the Punctuation Day is definitely their fun alternative. During this day, everyone is encouraged to read newspapers, store signs, and other materials to find punctuation errors.

NATIONAL WEATHERPERSON'S DAY. Most people love weatherpersons because the latter have impeccable speech. Not only that, they bring you the weather forecasts that will help you go through your entire day without any problems. These people also have a day for their own to celebrate. If you are a weatherperson, then you can get this day all on your own.

There is the Bermuda Day too. The tropical islands are some of the places on the world where people do not really pay too much attention to weather forecast. However, it is only natural for them to be aware of when it is appropriate for them to change out of their winter clothes and start wearing summer outfits. The Bermuda Day is meant just for the people to know whether it is already fine for them to wear their summer uniforms to school or to work.

Blessed Rain Day. When living in countries that are always ravaged by monsoons, having a day that celebrates when weather phenomena stop is worth celebrating. In Bhutan, you get to celebrate this rest day by outdoor bathing. The mythically purified natural waters are what you will use for this.

Melon Day is a famous celebration of Turkmenistan. The Melon Day is a celebration meant for celebrating the actual creation of the popular muskmelon crossbreeds. Even melons in general are being celebrated in the beautiful Turkmenistan during August 12, otherwise called as Melon Day for them.

PICNIC DAY. Northern Australia is famous for this bizarre festivity. During the first Monday of August, celebrating Picnic Day is a must for families. The three-day festivities allow you to relax and enjoy the Adelaide River. Families should go there for a picnic to participate in the celebration of the said festivity.
