The most unique clubs there provide enjoyment, gambling, floor shows, cabaret and dance. Mauritius holidays are not complete without investing a day at La Cuvette, the gorgeous long, white beach that extends from Grand Baie to Cap Malheureux. Here you can take part in all types of water sports, according to the amount of adrenalin you enjoy. You could go for a tranquil submarine ride to see the incredible vibrant coral reefs, and ghostly shipwrecks, to the more powerful sports such as para sailing, water-skiing and windsurfing.

For those that enjoy something a bit more extreme, it is possible to go tandem skydiving. The typical free diving height is a magnificent 10 000feet and the view from the plane is spectacular. From high up the incredible contrast between white sand, emerald green plants and sapphire sea is even more amazing. If you don't really like being in the water or being in the air, you can enjoy hiking in one of the lots of natural reserves. All the reserves are really well kept and receive a good quantity of public funding. The fauna rises year after year. One of the very best well-known nature reserves is the Black River Gorges National Park where you will discover lots of unique bird species.
